ABS – American Bureau of Shipping Pressure Vessel

The vessel below has been designed using the ASME pressure vessel design code to satisfy the requirements of the chapter 4 section 1 of ABS Rules.
This vessel is built from carbon steel and incorporates a filter plate within. The vessel design calculations and drawing for construction have been reviewed and approved by ABS. The quality an , materials, fit up of welded joints will have been seen at stage inspections – a final inspection and witness of hydraulic test by the ABS inspector would have been undertaken before the ABS American bureau shipping rules would be applied to the nameplate and pressure vessel test certificate.
