The photo above is of an original brochure from Rednal for their pressure vessel range – I was given this by Brian Davies back in 1998 when he kindly showed me around his excellent production facility at Mile Oak Works in Oswestry (followed by lunch at the olde boote inn
Back then Rednal Pneumatics produced about £4m worth of air receivers and pressure vessels – and thoroughly profitably too – they were authorised manufacturer of ASME U Stamp and UM stamp vessels and polish UDT – they produced most vessels to EN286 – other codes they built to included ASME VIII PD5500. Ped97/23 and many others.

Back then Rednal Industries was run by Brian with his wife, they sold the business many years ago as a fully functional and profitable going concern. It is a shame to witness the decline of one of britains air receiver manufacturers.
