Is this even Legal?

Air Receivers
January 13, 2023

So we saved our customer heaps of site work and cost, but have we met the PESR / PED regs correctly?

These are to be installed in England.
Carbon Steel
Compressed air at 8.8 bar dp
3ooNB pipe x 2080 long with 10off  50NB connections.

It’s always nice to hear different takes on these things – UKCA/CE marked? Vessel or pipework etc.

Our valued customer is happy, they have SAVED heaps of time by ordering bespoke vessels. These horizontal Air Manifolds/Air Pigs are designed in accordance with ASME – NCS ,  But under PE(S)R 2016/PED Regs, should they be classed as Pipework or Vessels? How would you assess this application? Share your thoughts below…
